Yoga Instructors
Ali Nettles & Elana Blinder
Ali Nettles and Elana Blinder are Washington, DC-based yoga instructors trained in vinyasa and power flow. Ali and Elana instantly became friends during their 200-hour yoga teacher training, drawn together by their yin and yang characteristics — Ali’s softness, empathy, and fluidity balanced with Elana’s energy of fire, expansion, and soulfulness.
After a trip together to Breckenridge, Ali and Elana knew this retreat would one day come to fruition. With much thought and passion, they designed this retreat for explorers who want to dive deeper into nature, ignite their inner fire, and build new connections with others.
About Ali: Born and raised in Selma, Alabama, Ali began teaching yoga to introduce others to the gifts of confidence, calm, and community that yoga has given her. She encourages authenticity and provides a “no judgment” space that allows students to let go and take flight. In her classes, you can expect to laugh (at her or yourself), be inspired by those around you, and walk away a little taller than before — both inside and out.
About Elana: Elana is a Southern California native who turned to yoga to heal her relationship with her body. Her sankolpa, or teaching mission, is to spread love and inspire students to leave her classes feeling a deeper sense of love for themselves, their bodies and the world.
Ali & Elana received their 200-hour Yoga Alliance certifications under Mimi Rieger, an internationally recognized yoga instructor based in Washington, D.C.
